Natalie Aronov is a freshman at Northwest Yeshiva High School.
Aronov’s family moved to Seattle from Virginia in 2020 for her father’s work. According to Aronov, she and her sister, Avital, a junior, both came to NYHS for a “good Jewish education.”
“My favorite thing about NYHS is my friends,” she said. “Because it is a small school, I can have better and closer friendships.”
Aronov has an interest in math and science. She participates in the Science Bowl, a club led by Mr. Ben Legel that trains for the National Science Bowl.
“The thrill of solving problems,” is why she loves those number-based subjects. Aronov plans to use her knowledge of those two subjects to be a theoretical physicist or neurobiologist.
Aronov loves to read as well. “I love The Lord of the Rings for its plot, characters, setting and complexity of the world,” Aronov said. She also appreciates how she can relate to some of the characters as humans but also views them as different.
“Frodo and Sam have the best friendship ever,” Aronov said. “I will die on that hill.”
